“When Allah inspires your tongue to ask, know that He wants to give.”Ibn ‘Ata ‘Allah al-Iskandari
This video delves into the potential for our small epiphanies, aha moments, during moments of escape to lead to more significant realizations when we break free from injustice, oppression, or misguided beliefs.
By focusing on the ultimate “Aha Moment,” we can visualize a brighter future after enduring hardship. Instead of questioning God or attempting to human-explain His actions, we can turn to Him for guidance, freedom from calamity, and support as we strive for wellbeing.
Allah is the One who places a need in us and inspires us to ask Him for it. Do watch it and notice the interaction between that person and God and reflect on how we are to turn to God during any calamity – and ask Him for our needs to the next chapter of wellbeing. He enjoys our requests because they are acts of giving on His part. He is the Most Generous. Put your needs before Allah, submit to Him, and have complete faith that He will respond.
The righteous companion, Umar ibn Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, said, “I do not worry about an answer to my supplication; rather I worry about making supplication! I know that if I am inspired [by Allah] to supplicate, then the answer will come with it.”
