Echoes of Erasure, Season 4 | Ramadan 2026 | Dalia Mogahed

A Public Invitation to Verify With Me

For years, I have written, taught, and published reflections rooted in Qur’anic ethics — frameworks built on contemplation, verification, and integrity. These ideas have traveled far beyond my platforms, sometimes with attribution, often without it. Season 4 of Echoes of Erasure continues and my work of documenting these patterns with clarity and dignity.

This season, I am inviting readers to verify along with me.

If a public figure presents reflective frameworks, theological language, or narrative structures that mirror my published work, I will simply place the timelines side by side. I will share their links, their programs, and their content openly. Nothing will be hidden. Nothing will be erased. You will be able to see for yourself what aligns, what predates what, and what does not.

Unlike those who have erased my authorship, I will not erase anyone. Their work will be cited. Their programs will be linked. Verification is not a threat — it is a standard.

Ethical standards do not change based on personal preference. And when they do, it reveals that the principles of the Quran was never the anchor — the preference was.

As Season 4 of Qur’an Conversations or Echoes of Erasure is released, I will be watching with sincerity, not hostility. I am genuinely hoping to see original reflections, intellectual and spiritual growth, and something higher than the familiar patterns of “I heard it through the grapevine.” If the work is original, I will say so. If it is not, I will document the parallels and show where the ideas originated in my writings long before they appeared elsewhere.

This is not about conflict. This is about authorship, integrity, and the Qur’anic ethic of verification.

Titles do not determine roles — conduct does. If the conduct is rumor, erasure, and invented conversations, then the role is not ‘researcher.’ It is ‘narrator of unverified claims.’ And that distinction matters.

Join me this season. Read, watch, and verify with me.
